Not Forgotten

I get a little more sentimental when we're away from home on patriotic holidays. I wanted to pull out this set that I designed to pay tribute to those who have fought to keep my country - and other countries - free. Thank you - you are not forgotten.

The set is available from Firecracker Designs by Pamela, and is one of my own designs. Click here for the story behind the main image. I'd like to give this card and a copy of this stamp set away in honor of Memorial Day - leave a comment on this post if you'd like a chance to win! I'll draw a random name Thursday at noon my time - that's Wednesday (5/27) midnight EST.

  1. I am moved by your sense of holidays since you live in a whole other world. I take joy in your cards, and most of all in your ability to share your ministry as you serve Him. Thank you so much.

  3. This is a love card paying tribute to those who fight to keep us all safe. I find it exceptionally thoughtful of you and your family to be so far from family and friends spreading the word of God, this is truly inspirational. You are a true blessing. ~~ Sue O. in Minnesota

  6. I LOVE this set of yours, Dina. My little brother has been on two tours in Iraq, for a total of 20 months deployment. He missed his toddler's first steps, first words, etc. It is so hard to have family overseas. Thank you for remembering and pointing us all to the reason behind the holiday.

  8. Another great card Dina! Love the ideas I get from you. I checked out the set, lots of great verses/sayings to go with the image! I don't have anyone in the military but I join you in appreciating the sacrifices military families make for us!

  16. Love this - and it's a global card. A lot have been very American - fair enough, it's your holiday and I think it's great that a day is set aside to celebrate/commemorate these AMAZING people. This inspires me to find out more about supporting out troops too. Lovely. Thank you xx
