Just for fun.......

I found myself in a pink/green rut last week - unusal for me, but it was fun. :) These are Impression Obsession stamps - I just love the parfait image...how cute is that? What can be cuter than a parfait? The sentiment is from the cupcake set, but it works so well for anything sweet. So my little parfait is watercolored, and covered with Diamond Glaze...the rest of the card is pretty straightforward - used up some scraps from the vault, which is always good.

Ugh....busy days here...but if I can make it through this next week I'll be OK! Our students will be heading out over the weekend for break, so their Christmas program/graduation is Thursday night (I'm on the music team, singing with the staff ladies, and accompanying another special)...Friday my daughter turns 6, so Saturday we'll do a little lunch/craft 'thing' for her with some friends....then our homeschool kids are doing their program Monday night. So...I'm breathing deeply and thinking of Christmas break....

Better get back to work - I'm supposed to be finishing up a newsletter! Sigh........

  1. Great Card! I am partial to those colors....
Where do you get your flowers? And the fern-like branch beneath the flowers?
My granddaughter Ali will be 10 on the 19th. We attended her BD party yesterday. About 10 girls of that age, as well as 2 siblings and 6 cousins of varying ages.... Wild and wonderful!

  2. So sweet, the pink and green are adorable just like that parfait. You kinda sound like Donkey from Shriek!! LOL. I always love how you can so easily pair various designer paper. That scares me....one at a time is all I seem to be able to do. Maybe I'll have to make that a challenge for me in the new year!!

  3. We've been talking about missionaries the last few weeks in our adult Sunday school, and your face keeps coming to my mind. I'm praying that this week goes well for you and that God's hand will be over you in all the details. God bless you. Elizabeth S. in mid-Michigan
