Welcome to this week’s smARTworks tea party! Donelda challenged us to incorporate circles into our stamping this week. This is actually something I’ve been challenging myself to do lately, so this was fun for me. I also get to give you a sneak peek of one of the new stamps sets coming in smARTworks’ next release! This set is called "Buttoned Up", and it’s also one of my new designs! It’s a big set, with the smiling girl image, button daisies in 2 sizes and in a border, 2 buttons, and several fun sayings revolving around joy, rejoicing, and secrets. Super super cute.
My card is pretty monochromatic, which is a fun change sometimes. I didn’t even color the main image except for adding a little penciled shadow behind the girl. The daisies are stamped on decorative paper and trimmed. I had some fun with the embellishments, buttons, Skittles, and some punchies.
Be sure to check out the other team members' creations as they post throughout the day...

This is just toooooo stinkin' cute - and I'm already drooling over that stamp set. As always, you've pulled it together beautifully; I love the different flowers with the dew drops and buttons, and the hint of color with the girl's "shadow" is a wonderful touch
ReplyDeleteDina, I LOVE it!! Ohhhh, new rubber!!! The colors are so awesome! You never fail to amaze me!!
ReplyDeleteI love this set! And the monochromatic color scheme show it off beautifully. BTW, I named the set "Buttoned Up," but now I'm wondering it the little girl has a name?
