a card! a card!

Just a quick post......to prove that I still do stamp. :) Thankfully we're feeling pretty well settled, and my helper (Lord willing) will be arriving today. Students are arriving already, and pretty soon life will be in full swing. We're borrowing an internet connection...sigh...the phone company is not in a hurry to fix our lines - yesterday I called and they said we need to get our phone line fixed first (it squeals like a fax machine) before they will address our internet problems. Blah... So...thank God for wireless, and kind co-workers. Still limited, but at least I can open my mail now. Today is a catch up day...sending out files, paying bills, uploading pictures...

Stamps used are from smARTworks' Farewell set - I thought I'd try something a little "Zindorf" and broke out my brayer and my not-so-moldy-now dye ink pads. The sun was masked with a circle cut-out. I stamped the waving boy and grass over the sunset, then filled in with a black pen. The saying is popped with mounting tape, and hangs off the edge to a 5" width.

OK, I have a diaper to change...my oldest son came to tell me how stinky it was, and I told him it was next on my list, I promise...and his reply was, "Why can't it be first?"
