Firecracker Designs by Pamela

I've had this set since before Christmas and finally sat down to play with it last week. I probably don't need to explain why this set appealed to me...! Actually when I finished this card, DH looked at it and said - "That's you, isn't it." Yep. In my favorite sweatshirt. Just wish my legs looked that good.

Firecracker Designs by Pamela is a new company to me - they have a fun variety of designs, including converted photo images, ATC images, collage, and cute, in unmounted rubber and acrylic sets. I ordered one clear set and one rubber set, and am pleased with both. They have frequent specials with great prices...get on their mailing list for exclusive specials too!

So here's my card. I knew Pamela had posted some sketch challenges, and thought it would be fun to follow one of those with her images, but I couldn't get on the computer and this design came together in the meantime. Then...when I went to her blog, I realized...I had actually inadvertently done one of her sketches! So that worked out well. The image is watercolored with a waterbrush and Derwent WC pencils.

My second Firecracker Designs card uses the Solid set. What is it with me and backviews of people? But I love this image. I did have another of Pamela's sketches in mind that featured circles, but my one circle is where that inspiration stopped. The saying is by smARTworks.

We start traveling tomorrow...but I have some cards to share along the way. Have a great week!
