Thanks to all who left a comment for my bird-day drawing, and thanks especially for all the birthday wishes!

Some of you had some interesting (and yummy) guesses for my yearly birthday dinner...but only a few of you guessed...spaghetti! When we're overseas I do cook everything from scratch pretty much, and make my own bread - so I enjoyed being able to BUY Italian bread, and not have to cook my own tomatoes this time. So the menu this year - spaghetti with Italian sausage (wow, I have missed that), garlic bread, salad, apple pie (lattice top), and cappuccino cheesecake (new recipe, oh my goodness - sooooooo easy and yummy! just don't bake it as long as they say...! overseas we pay about $4 for a brick of Philly cream cheese, so this was a special treat.). So a random winner from those who guessed correctly was....
