off we go...............................

Today's the day - hard to believe...lots of mixed emotions as we get ready to leave a place that's really become home to us, where we've become a safe haven for a lot of people who are not quite sure how they're going survive without us...to a place where people are waiting to welcome us and love on us, a place
we've always called home but we're not quite sure now how we'll fit in again....

I woke up this morning and started crying right away. I'm sure it won't be the only time...(yep...there I go again...)! I found this picture this morning and I really really related to this guy - I think maybe because he looks so alone, and he's ready but...what if...?

If you want to pray for me specifically...I think maybe the hardest thing for me besides leaving the people here who have become my family...is that the place we are going to first is my husband's stomping grounds, not mine...all his friends are older than me, and I don't have any "buddies" there. I love my inlaws, don't get me wrong...but I don't have anyone else there that I'm close to. I know the Lord has already gone before us, and He knows just what I need, so pray that I'll rest and be content in Him. I do have plenty to do to keep me busy once we get there....design team stuff too...and I have a feeling I'll be embarrassed at the compilation of 7 months worth of stress shopping...! (No, really, it's not all for me...!)

We leave here at 2 pm which translates to somewhere Sunday night Stateside...overnight in Singapore, then stop in Hong Kong before heading U.S.-ward. Gets us home sometime Tuesday evening. So.....keep creating without me for a while, friends! I'll see you when I see you.

  5. Said a little prayer for you Dina. Any big change is stressful and a little extra peace will help you soar thru it. Can't wait to hear from you again (feel free to rest up first! LOL) We'll still all be here...

  8. Bless your heart, Dina. I'll be praying for you each day when I look at my blogroll. We just moved back into my husband's stomping grounds in the last few months. It takes time to find your place. I guess that makes us have to stay closer to the Lord, which makes it all worth it somehow. Enjoy the goodies waiting for you!
