Magnolia!

Bea of Megastamper was kind enough to send me some images from Magnolia Stamps to color, all the way from Germany, while all my stamps are packed, and ........... OK, I'm in love. This is just one of the many images she sent...each one is adorable and has so much personality and sweet detail. Thank you, Bea! You are a gem!

I colored this little girl with Derwent watercolor pencils. There are some glitterly highlights on the lamp and on her little wings, just for fun...I think you can see them in the picture. Tip: with the Sakura Stardust glitter pen, blending the pen a little with water after using it directly on the paper takes away some of that silvery tinge that it normally has. For what it's worth!

Hard to believe our count is down to 3 days...! Cleaned out my pantry today, had a little debriefing time with leadership... Tomorrow friends are taking our kids for the day so we can put some finishing touches on packing...plus I have a request from one of our adopted sons to make pizza one last time...and also a couple pans of marble cream cheese brownies which they love...the campus Christmas program is in the evening (and you'll be proud of me for not signing up for anything except to loan a table cloth), and after that is a short meeting to honor us...so it will be a busy day. May be able to pop in for a couple more updates, but not stamped ones, probably. All my stuff is either stored away or waiting to be packed. Sigh... Maybe just keep my new images out for coloring. I'll check in though...for the few of you who will be checking in on me!

  1. Those little Magnolia stamps are so sweet - love the way you colored yours! Sounds like you're getting ready really efficiently. I'm sure you're used to being organized (or at least you sound like you are) haha. I know the folks there will be sad to see you go, but the pizza & brownies should hold them for awhile! : )
