This card came together pretty quickly, using some scraps on my desk from another project I can't share quite yet (*wink*)!

The layout is from Julee's Mojo Monday challenge for the week - I've been really thankful for sketch challenges this week, since I have considerably less time to play lately.

Stamp credits:
Lighthouse: when I purchased it, it was Stender Designs. This line has since been purchased by Peddler's Pack. The verse is from My Heart Stamps for You - I love how it fits right in my circle punch! The scene is colored with Prismacolor pencils.

We had about all the students over last night for soft pretzels, a movie, and singing. It was good - we're not especially entertaining people, but it felt good just having people around. And mmmmmmm...pretzels! When we moved overseas I carefully stowed a jar of precious pretzel salt, knowing I wouldn't be able to get it here...and this was the first time in 2 years we've used it! I may make them again this weekend just for us - we had so many people over I made them tiny to make sure there'd be enough. Need to make us some big ones and break out the mustard!

  1. Simply stunning!

  2. Love it, lighthouse images are always so beautiful, it just seems to embody the ocean. You did a wonderful job on this one.

  3. This card is absolutely gorgeous!

  4. I love lighthouse images---they always inspire calmness in me. Yummmmm...did someone mention pretzels?!? Oh man...I want one now! Great card Dina! It's beautiful!
