Happy (Hoppers!) birthday!

I determined to use up this sheet of paisley paper, so ... using the same layout as the other day, with a few extra tweaks, I made 2 cards - I'll share the other one tomorrow. Definitely accomplished my 3 goals - birthday card, use up scraps, use prestamped images.

LOVE the Happy Hoppers from House Mouse - Jovita sent me this image a while back (thank you, friend!), and I plan to get a stack of these stamps when we go home. Soooooo cute! When I was younger I used to collect bunnies, and when I was in Junior High I had a rabbit, that was considered "blue", not grey. Beautiful bunny! (Not like royal blue or anything, but a bluish grey). I normally do brown bunnies and mice but this day - in memory of Smokey (sniff) - grey, baby (or is it gray? I'm never sure...anyone have an opinion?).

Forgive me for those eyelets - they look horrible!! I have all the silver ones mixed together, and there are some in the mix that I bought on clearance at Walmart - they are just so flimsy and they lose their shape when you set them. Ugh. So, don't buy Walmart eyelets!

Happy b-day stamp is from one of the clear dollar sets from Michaels (Studio G).

  4. Very cute card. Those clouds are awesome. I like how the balloons are cut out. The grey bunny goes perfect against the purple.
