showers of happy
Needed a break last night from design work, and I have been wanting to pull out something House Mouse and watercolor. Soooo.........here's what I came up with last night. I had to wait to finish it this morning...I can only have one of my American toys plugged in at a time, so since I was working late - if I unplugged the Ott light to plug in the heat gun to mess with the ribbon...I wouldn't be able to see what I was doing!
The scene is colored with Derwent watercolor pencils, except for the pink background - I used watercolor crayons for that. That's actually the "red" in the Lyra set I have...makes me want to go buy the Caran D'Ache set of 84 that I saw at the bookstore here...except that it costs 1,200,000.00 Rp! (that's like $120+...and I see that it's $110 at dickblick.com, plus shipping...but do I need another coloring medium at that price? sigh...)
Stamps are House Mouse by Stampa Rosa (I'm sort of picky - I like the originals - and I'm always on the lookout on ebay...) and smARTworks (saying). There's Sakura Stardust glitter pen on the confetti, and the paper is Basic Grey "Perhaps" (thank you Julee!!).
This is just so adorable. What a happy little mouse! great card.
