...and again I say rejoice!

Here's another card that snuck into my latest batch of smARTworks cards. I used the same layout from a previous post and a little more mix-n-match paper. Same ol' bittie birdie - love him - and today he wanted to be a robin. I positioned the word "rejoice" (partial verse stamp) with my Stamp-a-ma-jig. The colors do match a little better in real life, and the stripe paper on the front and inside is the same - I think I took this picture at night under my Ott lite so it came out a little weird.

Love this layout - for using up paper scraps, and for showing off a smaller image or scene. If you make a card with this layout, leave a comment around here somewhere so we can see what you create. Deb's been playing with this layout today, too - you can see her creations here!

That ribbon is really that bright, maybe even a little brighter than it looks in the picture - it was among the 150+ rolls of ribbon donated for a ladies' craft this summer...there's quite a lot left (thanks to sooooooooo many generous ladies), which I've been using here and there to encourage my fellow co-workers with 'real mail', and also look forward to using with the new student ladies as we begin a new semester at the training center next week. (You can view our family blog for more about our ministry, where we are, and what we're doing here!)

Happy news - hence the "rejoice" card - we are in the middle of a house building project that has been waylaid for a couple months due to lack of funds...yesterday there were guys at the site measuring the doors and windows, and work will begin again on Monday! Hopefully within the next few weeks we'll be able to move!

  1. Dina! I love that bird. I think he needs to fly on down here to my house. Now that I'm back online, we'll have to catch up.

  3. What good news! That long-anticipated moves edges a little closer! We can be sure God knows the date you need to move & that it is perfect... how nice that He's in control of all that & we don't have to worry. Your little bird is so cute.
