The giraffe is back.....

......for another sketch challenge at Poetic Artistry! Julee is the Blogger Bingo Queen these days. (In case you missed it, I entered a giraffe card in one of her past sketch challenge contests and won!) So - the giraffe is back. Call another number, girl!

All stamps are by smARTworks. The saying is actually a partial stamp - the whole saying is "Glad to hear things are looking up!" - but it didn't fit in the space I had, so I just inked part of it. It works, huh?

This patterned paper is from a set of small pads of paper I got from creativexpress.com before we left the States 2 years ago...there is a lot of it left and some of it is *very* uncool...but I'm still using it up...sigh...I stamped the script on the left background panel - wow, it is really crooked!

The giraffe (we need to name it, don't we...!) is colored with Prismacolor pencils/OMS and popped with mounting tape, and so is the saying. Lots of sponging too. Paper raffia, and some handmade paper to break up the straight lines a little.

Hard to believe I left a background white - no clouds, no leaves...what's gotten into me?!

  1. Another great card. I just love this giraffe! Hopefully your prize pack from the last giraffe card makes it to you soon. I sent it International Priority mail a month ago. When it comes, you'll have some fun new paper to play with.
