organizing.....

I mentioned in an earlier post that I'm planning kids crafts for an upcoming conference...well, I decided I needed to have all my notes in one place before things got too chaotic...so of course I had to have a notebook, and I couldn't have a notebook without stopping to alter it first, now could I? So here is the result. All stamps are by TAC - I loved that stamp from the set but couldn't justify buying the whole set so a generous SCS soul sent me an envelope full of images to play with. She's colored with Prismacolor pencils and there are some glitter pen highlights you probably can't see in the picture.

This green is not really my color, but I've had it forever and I thought this would be a good way to quickly use up 3 sheets of it (it came in a huge pack). Anyway, it worked with the brown (and now I'm craving mint chip ice cream, thank you...). I did that scalloped edge with my Coluzzle envelope template (which I'm not sure I've ever used for envelopes...why did I buy it again?).

I made a pocket inside - I'm not sure if that's a novel idea or not...using a 12"x12" piece of paper, I folded it up from the bottom till it was the same height as the pages, then folded it in half, punched the edge and put it in with the pages when I put the spiral back on. Kinda cool, and it gave me 2 pockets inside.

The tabs on the top are just halves of circle punches - the spacing was a little tricky, but I figured it out.

Thanks for checking in on me!
