Impression Obsession November Release Day 2

Welcome back for another day of projects using brand new Impression Obsession stamps! All new stamps are available HERE! We are kicking off the month with a 2-day hop, showing off the new releases - today is day 2! Head over to the Impression Obsession Blog for the start of the hop so you don't miss anything!

I keep trying to find stamp designs that haven't been done or that I don't have... so that's why I drew this enormous artichoke! Do you have an artichoke stamp?!

Artichokes symbolize hope, peace, and prosperity, and who can't use those? I stamped the image onto watercolor paper and colored the background with Copic markers for a deep rich black. The image is watercolored in multiple layers.

I stamped the sentiment onto tracing paper and folded it around the panel to adhere it in the back - didn't want to cover up all that pretty coloring! Here's another piece I did with my artichoke artwork - I love these little frame pendants!

  1. I LOVE the huge contrast between the BG and your artichoke.
Since you asked, yes I have an artichoke-but I would have bought yours if I did not! Mine also does not have the nice long stem yours does!
