Impression Obsession Summer Release - Day 3

I hope you're ready for some Impression Obsession goodness today... we have new Summer stamps  to share this week! You can find all the new products HERE!

L20860 Ballet Slippers Large
B13902 Thank Goodness

These shoes aren't my design, but I was so happy with the way this card turned out, I just had to share it today! Alesa Baker has a whole bunch of dance and ballet themed stamps in this release, but since I had this brand new Yellow Brick Road stencil to play with, as soon as I saw the shoes I thought a Wizard of Oz inspired card would be so fun!

I colored the shoes with Copics, using a stippling technique, and then covered them with Wink of Stella for some added sparkle. The background was watercolored, stenciled with dye ink, and then watercolored some more to add shadows.

Be sure to check out the other designers' blogs for inspiration - you'll find a full list of their names on the I.O. Blog! You're not required to comment on every post, but the more comments you leave, the more chances you have to win - each one of us has a $25 gift certificate to give away! If you've missed another day of the hop, you can still go back and comment until Monday April 13th at noon CT. All winners will be announced on April 14th on the IO blog, so be sure to check back for your name!
Thanks for stopping by!
