Splitcoast Tutorial: Tissue Paper Watercolor

Today's tutorial over on Splitcoast is a fun and easy way to create watercolor blended backgrounds using tissue paper! Click here for the Tissue Paper Watercolor tutorial.

Any water soluble medium can be used - I used ColorBox Spritzers for my background, and I love the vibrant results. All the dies I used are from Impression Obsession (Three Trees Background, Fireplace, Hill Landscape Layers, Cardinals, Fence) - the birds and stocking are colored with Copic markers, and shaded with colored pencil.

Hope you'll try this background technique!
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Hello Dina: I love cards made with tissue paper, it's amazing the beautiful and different looks you get with it.
Your card is gorgeous, the color on the background is so intense and your dies really pop off the page.
I wanted to see the video but there is no link to it, when I click on the title of the post, it just brings me back to it.
I hope you can fix it because I would love to see how you created this wonderful and beautiful card.
Thank you so much for sharing.
    Hugs,
    Maria.
