A2 Pop-Up Box Cards

Back in January I shared a tutorial for a Pop-Up Box Card - the finished card size fits nicely in a 6"x9" envelope. I've added measurements to the tutorial for smaller horizontal and vertical versions of the card that will fit in a standard invitation envelope. Here are the samples I made - you can find the measurements and instructions at the link above!

This card is done using the measurements for the horizontal orientation - I love the larger opening and smaller squatty size! I used stamps from The Cat's Pajamas, with die cuts from Spellbinders and Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. This card has an extra strip inside, just for fun. The bunny image is colored using Touch Twin Markers and the colors I used are listed below. Since I used double-sided cardstock, I didn't embellish the panels this time.

I made a baby card with the measurements for the vertical card - it's a smaller narrower card, but cute as well. These stamp images are also from The Cat's Pajamas, and I used Quickutz dies to cut the circles and stars.

The hippos were stamped on the same baby blue cardstock, and are shaded using Touch Twin Markers and a #2 pencil.

These cards have really taken the internet by storm, and they're so fun and simple to make - hope you'll try out the new dimensions if you've been holding out! Can't wait to send these out.

Thanks for stopping by!
