LoveFest and Border Frames

It's been a lit-tle crazy trying to catch up this week! For today's post I've combined this week's tutorial with one of our member companies' LoveFest challenges. In this week's tutorial, you can learn 3 different ways to create frames on your cards using border stamps.

Here's my card, using the colors above. I stamped the frame using a border stamp from the Decorative Frame Toppers set - the red ink I used is a new-to-me Versafine pad called Satin Red - love it. I masked the inside of the frame to do the collage stamping (those stamps are from one of my sets, called Vintage Postcard.

I left the mask on and splattered some acrylic paint, then dabbed some chalk ink through drywall tape. I added a little more shading around the frame using watered down paint, ink, and pencil. The sentiment is from another set I designed called Graceful Calla Lily.
