quick, simple, scrappy

This was such a quick card, but I love it! I think it would qualify as a 'scrappy' card, not especially 'stampy', know what I mean? One little bit of stamping on it, from the "Together" set by smARTworks.

Since I'm in a patterned paper wasteland, I've often turned to digital scrapbooking paper when I need a scrap of patterned something-or-other. This particular kit is called Sun Porch, and can be downloaded for free from Shabby Princess. Isn't it fun?

Really not much to describe here. I used Adirondack Espresso ink on the saying and to sponge the edges, and scored just inside the edges of the white panel to create an embossed border. That is a white panel, even though it looks a little yellowed...it was evening when I took the picture and I never get the light right when I do pictures at my desk. Aren't Ott Lites supposed to give true color? What's up with that?

  1. Love the different color combo of this, but here's a question: What type of stock do you use when printing out the digital paper? It looks textured.
