Impression Obsession DT Theme: Square Cards

The Impression Obsession team has some projects to share today featuring square cards - play along with us! 

I clearly need to do some reorganizing, because 1) I have soooo many discontinued stamps mixed in with current ones, and I don't know what's what, and 2) new stuff is coming! This classic Hydrangea set is one I hadn't used for a while, so I was glad to see that it is available! This is a solid clear set with matching dies for the stem, blossoms (base and individual flowers), and leaves, and several everyday sentiments. I tried a couple of different ways, and decided to ink the stamps randomly with Karin markers and stamp onto misted watercolor paper.  After the stamped ink was dry, I outlined a few areas with some diluted ink for a little more depth.

The flowers were placed onto one of Anna's quilt dies - I thought it looked a little like a trellis! I love the font on the sentiments in this set - and what a perfect fit on that banner!
