Impression Obsession May Release - Team Favorites
The IO Team is back today with a little hop to share our favorite cards from this month's release, so here's mine! If you're already hopping and you came from Anna's blog you are in the correct place. If not, head over to the Impression Obsession Blog for the start of the hop so you don't miss anything!
I didn't really have a favorite from my catalog cards, so I made a new one today - if you like this style you can find the 3D Envelope Card tutorial over at Splitcoaststampers!
The envelope box is made with an envelope punch board, so it has some depth for filling up with all kinds of whatever you want! I cut the images out with my ScanNCut and popped them up with foam tape. There's tissue paper in the back of the box, and I had a bit of shredded paper from another stamp order that fit inside for a fun presentation. The sentiment is on a die cut that I cut shorter by putting the first cut back into the die, lining up the stitching.
Awesome idea. I like the elements of this card. Perfect coloring!
ReplyDeleteThat is cute! Can it go through the mail?
ReplyDeleteThe envelope part is about 3/4" thick, so it would have to be mailed in a box.

ReplyDeleteEvery detail is so clever and I love the way you used those crimped paper strips. If retirement could only be that fun!!! I have retired but haven't had so many glorious times as these, but I do get to spend quality time stamping and creating, which isn't a bad alternative!! LOL
