Splitcoast Tutorial: Glaze Pen Resist

It's my turn to share a tutorial over on Splitcoast this week, and I pulled out a technique I have used for years - it's Glaze Pen Resist! The Sakura Gelly Roll glaze pens are waterproof when dry, so in addition to the little raised gloss they add to an image, they can also be used for some great 'permanent masking' or resist techniques. You can watch my process for making this card over on the tutorial page.

I used stamps from Whimsy Stamps for my project, as well as a retired die set. If you are into slimline cards, be sure to check out their amazing die line - they were the first to bring slimline dies to the market, and they have some super fun ones!

At an angle you can see a few of the areas that are masked! It's so much easier to be able to color right over a masked area than to try to have to fiddle around grass or chair legs and keep an even color blend! Hope you'll check out the tutorial - the video is full of tips.

Have a great week!

Thanks for stopping by!
