I was really tickled with this card for a number or reasons... mainly because that candy was in a Christmas candy set and I pulled it out for a Halloween card (it reminds me of those Brach's flavored caramels - remember those?). I cut the candy out with my ScanNCut and the sentiment panel was cut with a guillotine cutter................. but check out the background! That's where I used a die you might not expect. See those stitched squares?

Here's the die I used! This is a sweet value die with all its different parts - it's a solid die, so with a single cut you get the scalloped frame, the window frame, and 9 stitched squares.

This was a great way to use up some smaller scraps from my stash - I have such a hard time throwing them away!
