Impression Obsession Fall Die Release Day 2

A few more samples today using dies from the  new fall release over at Impression Obsession - there are some really fun new summer designs to choose from! Go take a peek if you haven't yet - I'll wait!

 We didn't do an "Old is New" post this week, so I'll share a couple of cards today that paired the new dies nicely with some of my older stamps. There are some sweet sewing themed dies, including this button card full of vintage style buttons! I have a sewing collection in my line that's one of my favorite releases (lots of sewing heritage in my family and I also bought a wire dress form yesterday just for fun!).

The Daisy Frame is a beautiful die with lots of options - you'll probably see some other samples on the hop! I used Copic markers to color in the petals, then replaced them into the die cut. I used the Black-Eyed Susan dies to press into the layering panel for some added texture - instead of cutting the dies all apart I left them together, which gave me a nice, equally spaced panel of flowers and leaves to work with.

    Dina, your sewing themed card is BEAUTIFUL! I also LOVE your sewing images you linked to! You should show us your NEW wire dress form! I actually NEED to do more sewing themed cards! ;) Do show us your new wire dress form???? Your flower card is STUNNING with the Black Eyed Susan impressed on the outer portions.     Beautiful floral card! The daisy could be colored in so many ways to resemble other flowers too. Embossing the black eyed Susan die into the background is sheer genius! A subtle touch but just enough to perfectly frame out the floral focal!!!

    It's been a long time since I've seen such a pretty vintage/shabby chic Victorian style card but that is what the first one reminds me of - lovely! The second one is so charming, all white with the pink petals! Nice way to incorporate the petals with the die like that :) Aloha, Dina :*
