Impression Obsession - Old is New

With such a huge collection of wonderful stamps from so many artists, sometimes the older stamps in the Impression Obsession catalog find their way out of the spotlight. We don't want them to be forgotten, so from now on you'll be seeing our team feature them regularly. We hope you're inspired!

Once again I'm using a stamp image that is new to Impression Obsession as part of the long-established line from Serendipity Stamps - if you love realistic floral stamps, be sure to visit that section - there are some absolutely gorgeous images there! I have a deep love for geraniums, so of course this image needed to be mine. It's colored with Copic markers here, and a watercolor background. I used IO's black hybrid ink just so I could use those 2 mediums together! I love how versatile the hybrid inks are.

Here's a closer look at the coloring - I did use a Sepia colored pencil to add some fine shadows in the petals and on the stems, and a paint pen to highlight the flower centers.

Of course I couldn't have stamped so beautifully on watercolor paper without my MISTI, and that reminds me to tell you that My Sweet Petunia is having an amazing sale starting today - so be sure to check that out as well!
