Impression Obsession DT Challenge: Pink and Green (and a giveaway!)
The Impression Obsession team's challenge today is to create a project using the colors pink and green.
This is a pretty simple card - I love building backgrounds out of strips of paper, especially ones that are just hanging around on my desk. My focal image is colored with Copics, and the whole card is 'tied' together with a piece of silk ribbon, attached with a clothespin. (Overseas we used to hang our laundry out to dry - I miss that!)
I have an extra copy of this set to give away, so leave a comment below for a chance to win it! Please make sure I have a way to contact you. I'll announce my winner Sunday morning (Apr. 8). Good luck!

ReplyDeleteLove the card! Clothes pin was a special touch. Would be fun to make cards with this set while doing my Monday chore of laundry! kren@afourthlife
ReplyDeleteLove the color combo and the clothespin! This would be great way to use my stash of tiny clothespins....Cute card. TFS!
ReplyDeleteHOW CUTE, Dina! HERE where I live, I'm afraid if I hung my laundry out to dry, I would bring it in full of CHIGGERS! ACK! LOL I too LOOOOVE the fresh smell that hung laundry gives! ;) Laundry is ONE "chore" I enjoy! ;) SUPER CARD! The colors are PERFECT for Spring & your image is BEAUTIFULLY COLORED! I also LOVE the addition of the clothespin! ;)

DeleteDina, this card is so sweet. I have years of hanging laundry with and for my mom so this card brings back great memories. Add to it that her favorite color combination was pink and green! Need I say I love this card? tfs

DeleteGorgeous card! I love the background, great use of scraps.
ReplyDeleteLove the cheerful pink and green colors! It makes me think spring will eventually arrive, although here in Missouri, I'm beginning to wonder! The laundry stamps are so especially cute as is your card!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun card! I use my clothesline often when the weather permits. Nothing like fresh laundry right off the line, especially sheets!
ReplyDeleteI am a CA girl and we always had a clothesline growing up. I can still smell fresh sheets off the line☺️
ReplyDeleteI love fresh line dried sheets and clothes too! What an adorable set as well! Just in case, my addy is jashomemail@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteDarling. I used to hang clothes with my grandmother and aunt. We always had to hustle when summer storms were coming and get them in. Sweet memory. Thanks for your generosity. Lisa Huther michaelsonlygirl@gmail.com

I love this stamp set. I have hanged up many clothes on an outdoor clothesline. I love the smell of clean sheets that have been outside in the fresh air. And diapers were always so much whiter. I think I will have to get hubby to put me up a line. :-)
ReplyDeleteNice to see the simple but great basics again! Great work Dina
ReplyDeleteSo pretty the way you mixed paper and have so much color!
