Ice cream...? for me...?

Tonight is the deadline for our Dare To Get Dirty participants to enter their challenge cards. Since I did most of my cards as challenge samples before the event, I had a little fun stamping just for me, and combining a whole bunch of the challenges onto one card. This card actually covers 8 challenges!

After such a big event and my usual burnout after a CHA release, it felt really good to just make a card without obligation.  This House Mouse stamp is part of an unmounted set from Joanna Sheen's online store. I stamped the image onto a 4" Art Square from Inchie Arts - these are great for patient watercoloring and layered glazes. The wall was stenciled using a lightly dampened stipple brush and a brick stencil from Want 2 Scrap.

I mixed archival dye ink with modeling paste to make the ice cream dimensional - I just tapped the inkpad onto a ceramic tile, and used a palette knife to mix the color into the paste. I love that added texture!I did a little masking using a Sakura glaze pen on the rim and label of the carton. I added glaze to the pink spoons after coloring, so they'd be shiny. Doesn't ice cream taste better with a pink spoon?

Enjoy your week!

LOL I love House Mouse!! And I love your coloring. and I love that you use different mediums for your coloring too! I splurged for my bday and ordered a gaggle of copics and can not wait for them to get here. LOL
