Today, there are two prizes up for grabs!! One will be for Friday’s
comments, and another will be chosen from all the comments left
throughout the week.
So if you missed a day or time deadline don't worry - your comments will still count
for a chance to win. Both Friday winners will be announced on the IO Blog on Saturday.
I wanted to share a couple of my Christmas stamps today! This card features a postcard collage stamp (Holly Letter) that's simple to color, and makes a great background or focal image for a quick Christmas card. I colored this panel with Distress and watercolor markers, and added some dimensional glaze to the berries for extra shine.
Here's another Christmas image (Tree Bearer) that is one of a small set of silhouettes that you may have seen on other blogs. I inked the stamp up with black, green, and brown Distress markers, misted and stamped, added a few watercolored shades and scenic elements, then decorated the tree with mini pearls.
The background panel was a gel print (cleaning off the surface, so it has some pearl medium, pinks and greens on a white base) that I embossed with a Sizzix folder and highlighted with Inka Gold (Old Silver), then sponged the edges for a vintage look. The sentiment can be found HERE.
Be sure to check out these other designers' blogs for inspiration, and comment for more chances to win! Thank you so much for hopping with us this week - it's been a blast for us, and we hope you've enjoyed it too!
