Mixed Media Dressform

Another sample for the MIX12 challenge that I hosted last week at Splitcoaststampers... my other samples were really bold, so I wanted to share one with a more vintage feel, and softer colors.

All the stamps I used are from Impression Obsession and most of them are from my dkdesigns stamp line.

There are lots of layers on my background panel, which began as some pieced scraps of DP.   I layered the panel with inks, acrylic paint, and stamps.

I stamped the dress form on patterned paper, glued it onto a piece of painted chipboard, then embossed the 2 pieces together. I added some color to the image with Touch Twin Markers - the colors I used are below. I brayered white paint onto my base panel to soften the contrasting colors a little.

Enjoy your weekend - I'll be resting and doing some creative therapy! I started a canvas I'm excited about, and I'm still working on that watercolor piece...........

Thanks for stopping by!
