Hello June releases!
Here is a sneak peek at one of the sets being released by Our Daily Bread designs in June - this set is called Ask Seek Knock. The door is the main image, accompanied by 3 verses. (The sentiment I used is from the Flourished Christian Symbols set.) I stamped the door image twice, once on this piece of Basic Grey cardstock, and once on red cardstock. I added some shading and highlights with Prismacolor pencils. On the main panel I cut out the doorway, then cut out the door from the red panel, leaving a tab on the right side so it could open out. The door is slightly ajar, and 'popped' with mounting foam. The rock path is sketched in, and grass is stamped in with chalk inks (grass stamp by smARTworks). The corner flourish stamp is from Stamp Camp.
What a cool card Dina!! I'm sure the ODBD design team will miss you...
ReplyDeleteTake care and STAY POSITIVE!
I totally love this! So well done and such a beautiful pop of color!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done! Very creative! I don't get the feeling you have a lot of "free time"!! I hate to see you leave ODBD but less stress is good......
ReplyDeleteThis really is gorgeous!!! I love the red door!!! I love the fragrance too btw... LOL! Love how you popped the door just slightly open and love the sentiment you paired with it! Gorgeous work! I'm just so thrilled to be haning out with the sticks in the bread basket with all this talent!
ReplyDeleteThis is so incredibly gorgeous! LOVE it!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDina, this card is so luminous! It's as if the door is leading to heaven's entrance! You are so gifted! That stone walkway looks like it belongs as part of the stamped image! Wows all around!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear you're leaving ODBD as a bread stick, but glad you'll still be designing sets! I bought one of your designs and hope to have it in my hot little hands before long!
This is such a beautiful and elegant card. I love your interpretation of this design. I will miss you designing for ODBD as I truly enjoy how you think about what you are creating, but as stated by others, I'm so glad you will still be designing sets. I really love your work and look forward to more of your designs. God bless you. Elizabeth S. in mid-Michigan
