One stamp two ways...
I have a couple minutes this morning before life gets rolling - thought I'd share these cards I made with smARTworks' Wonder set. (click on the set name to see the full set and other cards made using these stamps!)
I've been feeling a little mix-and-matchy with my patterned paper...I wonder why that is - if it's representative of mixed emotions or what. There we go, a psychology of card-making...someone is going to make millions on that one!
First card the flower (what is it? dandelion? agapanthus?) is stamped in Amber Clay chalk ink. The saying is from TAC, I think...got it in a grab bag on Ebay. Not really much more to explain there...the saying panel is popped up on foam tape.
Card #2 - I stamped the flower on white card stock and embossed it in white, then rubbed a chalk inkpad (Pastel Pink?) over the panel to fill in the color. The saying panel on this one is made with a keyhole punch I picked up on clearance in FL - it's a big sharp heavy yellow monster. Scary.
Still waiting to hear about my friend's sister...she called last night and said things were not good - the sister's breathing sounded like someone who had drowned (not sure what that means...?) and my friend had been called to the hospital. Hopefully there will be news soon - they are praying for a miracle...
The returning students start work detail today, cleaning up the campus after the summer. My job is to feed them when they take a break! Nice, huh? I think I'll try out a new donut recipe. I've decided my love language is feeding people...but for some reason that's not one of the choices...?!
These are GORGEOUS! You never cease to inspire me Dina! TFS!
ReplyDeletevery nice! I would call it a Queen Annes Lace- but they are 'fuller' in the middle.. who knows? I'm working on a ton of cards for an auction this fall for school- my goal is to use up alot of the paper scraps I've been packratting for years :) I'm praying too for your friend. God is good all the time! Rubber hugs <3 Your CSSC :)
