I almost forgot.......

.........remember the snail card with the happy trails saying? and I was going to order the stamp to go with it from Biblical Impressions while they still have free shipping...? Whew - almost forgot about it. This is the stamp - it's in the horses section, but I think it's perfect for a snail!

Also.........you may have noticed this new button over on the right - it's still a work in progress, but {from the cookie jar} is the gallery blog of the smARTworks Design Team! Each card is labeled with the set(s) used to create it, so you can sort and view cards by specific set, just by clicking on the set name to the right. It's worth a look-see!

Our dinner went well the other night - we are slowly converting our friends into Mexicans...! And Sophia, I don't really consider Taco Bell Mexican food either, and I wouldn't trade the final product of a day full of cooking for a bag of squished burritos, but it sure would have been easier! Progress on the house - my helper got a coat of "M.A.A." on the floor, which helps to condition the cement, so that's a big improvement - looks darker and richer and not so dusty (someone asked me - we have a cement floor, but they put in faux tile lines with a rope, so it gives the impression of tile). I got the counters all painted, and I think we'll just go ahead and put stuff in them today - they're not going to have doors for a while, which is not a big deal. If DH can get a pantry shelf made today, maybe we can get all the kitchen stuff put away finally.

I stamped last night, but no pictures yet - and not anything terribly creative or ground-breaking - just trying to use up some pre-stamped images and patterned paper to make October birthday cards for co-workers here, so they're ready to go when we actually have money to mail them (gotta love the end of the month - I think we are down to about $3.....)

  1. Hee, hee, I'm glad it all worked out so well, and that you are getting everything set up and put away. Nothing is worse than living out of suitcases and boxes. Also glad Taco Bell isn't your idea of Mexican ROFLOL. I'm a bane here to all our friends who eat it. They are probably hiding it from me at this point!
