overwhelmed.......

I made a stack of these cards for some sweet stampers that sent supplies for a ladies' craft I'm planning for an upcoming workers' conference. I know there are packages that still arrived after my parents left the States...but what they did bring amounted to about a 6-inch stack of patterned paper, 140+ different rolls of ribbon, not to mention stamps, stickers, brads, and other embellishments! I'm so amazed...my husband questions why believers are amazed when God answers prayer, but I think in this case it's because He provided sooooooooo much more than my expectations (girls, God cares about crafts! Whodathunk?) Anyway, if you were a part....thanks for being such a blessing to so many people. (What's left after the conference will be used for stamping times at my house with the students (we serve at an training center and the ladies like to come over and stamp) and to encourage our coworkers on the field.)

Card details! Of course, the mouse is from House Mouse - he's colored with Prismacolor pencils blended with mineral spirits. Sweet little guy has sooooooo many jellybeans he can't hold them all - just how I feel! Fence and Grass - Art Impressions clear stamps. The little flowers were made using the fern stamp from SU's Watercolor Minis set. The word "warm" is half a TAC stamp, and "fuzzies" was stamped with Snap Stamps (love those little guys!). Paper - KI Memories Funky Paper Pad. Circles cut with Coluzzle and scalloped circle - Marvy giga punch. Sakura glaze pen on the jellybeans. I like the accent of the brad - but on these ones the posts are so thick - I didn't want it to show inside and it was hard to attach the layer with such bulk behind.

Thanks for stopping in!

  5. I love your house mouse almost more than anything you do. You just seem to bring them alive. I too believe God loves crafters. He's given people like you amazing talent. I just hang out on the fringes. I'm a wanna be.
I read your venting on your other blog. It's hard for you to say no. I know that you receive blessings by saying yes, but maybe you are missing a huge blessing by not saying no. Say no and see how God blesses you then.kwim?
Keep creating, you're a good teacher at this very long distance.
