Impression Obsession - more April products
We've got more projects from the new release from Impression Obsession today! If you haven't seen the new release, you can find it all HERE - go check it out!
This is another new set by Alesa Baker - the hanging chimes create such a peaceful vibe! I used masking fluid to cover the bells while I watercolored the background - this one was another wet wash with misting to spread the color a little randomly. I also misted a little rubbing alcohol, which causes the sprayed areas to dry faster and creates the darker freckled effect.
Instead of laying the stencil into the paint like I did on yesterday's card I used the stencil like a stamp, picking up wet paint on the stencil and pressing it onto other areas. When the first layer was dry I used drywall tape as a sort of stencil to add a more texture with watercolor paint.
After I removed the masking fluid, I painted the bells and added a little shading with colored pencils.
April 15th & 16th The IO Team will be sharing new projects with the NEW clear stamps and dies! You can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog each day through the event.
Remember: two lucky customers who place an Impression Obsession order on April 15th and April 16th will be chosen and will have a very special Impression Obsession prize package added to their orders!
