Impression Obsession DT Theme - Easter
The Impression Obsession team has some projects to share today featuring an Easter theme - we'd love for you to play along with us!
I was going to share a few different ways to use the new Layered Easter Egg stencils, but I am actually missing a whole layer - I'm not sure if it's hidden itself in my office or if it never made it to me, so I'll have to sort that out first! Sigh......
I did have this card made using the smaller egg stencil in that set - there are 2 different egg sizes, and the decorations will fit across the larger egg this way, or in the other orientation on the smaller egg. For this card I blended ink in the open egg, and then used a palette knife to spread a mix of modeling paste and Distress Oxide ink for the dots. If you've never mixed those mediums together, it's a great way to get a custom texture paste in any color. You can use dye or alcohol inks, paints, sprays, mica or pigment powders, and more. (Here's a tutorial.)

Such a beautifully coloured egg Dina - love your stencilled dotted band around it :)
