More August stamps from Impression Obsession
We've got more projects from the new release from Impression Obsession today! I've got a little bit of everything in this release - stamps, papers, and stencils! If you haven't seen the new release, you can find it all HERE - go check it out! I'll wait.
I love Pooh but I have my Eeyore days as well, so here is a card showing off his special set for fall.
I started off by positioning the open layer of the Layered Leaf stencil set so it would frame my little scene - this is a BIG leaf that fits fully on a 5x7 card. I inked around the edges and continued stamping and coloring the image, grounding him with some additional shadows and falling leaves. When I'm coloring at my desk, I just grab whatever coloring implements are close by, so I used inks, markers, pencils, and a paint pen here.
To add a little dimension I used a light grey Copic marker to create a shadow under the lower outline of the leaf - love that little pop.
There are a couple of accent stamps in the set, so I wanted to use them on a card - these were just stamped across the panel, and then blobbed with watercolor in a very loose style (TIP: use a large brush for loose watercoloring so you're not tempted to add extra details!)
