Impression Obsession January release hop Day 2
Welcome back for another day of projects using brand new Impression Obsession stamps! All new stamps are available HERE! We will kick off each month with a 2-day hop, showing off the new releases - today is day 2! If you're already hopping and you came from Anna's blog you are in the correct place. If not, head over to the Impression Obsession Blog for the start of the hop so you don't miss anything!
I I just love this sad-but-relevant sentiment...! I thought it would be cute on a cellphone card. The card is about 4" x 6", and I used my trusty corner rounder to shape the corners. I used this die for the camera hole and cutout - it worked perfectly! The Stitched Speech Border die was just right for my little text bubble - and that set comes with left and right pieces so you could even pop a conversation in!
Keep hopping for more inspiration! Each day (Jan 1st & Jan 2nd) you can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog. We will be giving away THREE Impression Obsession $25 gift certificates for the event - so the more you comment through our Release Celebration the more chances to win!
All comments for each of the event days will be open until Monday January 4th at midnight CT, so if you missed any posts from yesterday you can still go back to comment. All winners will be announced on Tuesday January 5th on the Impression Obsession Blog!
Thank you for visiting me today!
Fabulous card that is sure to bring on a smile and maybe a tear or 2 considering out times. We all are here to support one another though and we need to focus on the positive.
ReplyDeleteLove, love how your card turned out. That sentiment is definitely so sad but true. Thank you for the inspiration.

ReplyDeleteYou're right! Sad but relevant today. I love how you created this phone card from the dies shown above. Very cool!!
ReplyDeleteGreat card.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, sad but true. Love the card.
ReplyDeleteLove the card....sad but true.
ReplyDeleteThank you for admitting that this situation is sad. So many people are in denial about the way we are being forced to live, it is horrible. I miss my friends and family....I like the idea of sending this sentiment--I wish that I knew how to see other people on my phone. I miss their faces, including smiles... Thank you again...
ReplyDeleteSo cute! And so true! Love it!
ReplyDeleteFun card! Too true! The Stitched Speech Border has lots of potential.
ReplyDeleteI really like the stitched speech bubble die cut. I also agree that it is a sad sentiment that reflects the times. When I see people together but not communicating face to face as they are so wrapped up with texting someone on their phones, I just inwardly shake my head. Are people going to forget how to have face to face conversations?
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute card
ReplyDeleteand a fun saying.

Love how you put all of this together. What a fun idea.
ReplyDeleteSo true it hurts...great design!!
ReplyDeleteVery clever how you used this die to make a phone card.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha!! This might be the best card EVER! So so true! Great creativity.
ReplyDeleteI like the saying too as we all stare at our phones too long. Nice card!
ReplyDeleteNice idea share for the set. Great finished look.
ReplyDeleteYou are so clever!!! I LOVE this card set up and sentiment! I didn't give it any thought until I read what you used to make each shape. What was really cute is now excitingly inspirational!!
ReplyDeleteDina, this is sheer brilliance! Love how you used the Stitched Speech Bubble die and button tag die! My hubby would love this sentiment. We're of an age that many of our friends have divorced, having fallen out of love with each other. We are of the mindset that true love is enjoying the comfortable silence that years of love and marriage can bring. What is sad is seeing a couple on a first date spending their time that way instead of getting to know each other better.
ReplyDeleteSuper fun card!!
ReplyDeleteThat cell phone says it all....
