Impression Obsession DT Theme - Hearts

The Impression Obsession team has some projects to share today featuring hearts! Maybe you'll find some inspiration for a Valentine project - who knows?? 

I wanted to be sure to include a quote stamp on my card, because ALL quote stamps are on sale in our featured category this week! You'll find a bunch of my designs in there as well. 

This is a quote from one of my favorite Shakespeare plays, Much Ado About Nothing - if you haven't seen Kenneth Branagh's movie version of this play, PLEASE please promise me you'll watch it while it's free on Prime Video! I love it so much.

I stamped this floral heart image (H20897 Wildflower Heart Wreath) in Mist hybrid ink - this is a great ink for a no-line look, and with lighter coloring it takes the color of whatever goes over it. I misted the image with water first and dropped in some watercolor with a large brush, then dried that layer and went in with more detail. Definitely a less-is-more process! I love how the misted water carries the colors out in unexpected ways.
