Spellbinders - Delicate Impressions Collection!

I usually feel like Becca Feeken's products are too fancy for me, but I love this new floral plate so much so I took a chance...! When I was cleaning the other day I noticed some black foil in my stash - it's not really shiny foil but not quite matte either. I used that foil to create a dark outline, then layered in some watercolors for the flowers and leaves.
The plate is perfectly sized for the long side of an A2 card, and it fills up a mini slimline card pretty well too! This card is 3" x 6", and my focal panel is about 2-1/2" x 5-1/2". Just right! I used Versafine Clair ink to ink up the sentiment (also a foiling plate), and cut a couple extra pieces to layer and lift it up. Below you can see the finish on the foil - I'll be using it more for sure! I love the effect.
I made an A2 card as well, with a completely different color scheme... I actually painted this panel with the flowers on the right, but I liked how the sentiment fit this way.
The upper right corner needed a little something, so I added in some watercolored texture using this stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.

Same sentiment again, popped up with 2 extra die cuts. So much easier than foam tape on this skinny piece! I use Elmers glue, which dries matte and clear. On these pics you can see the little white dots I added around the flower centers with a Posca pen... my favorite for white accents.
This floral plate is part of Becca's Delicate Impressions collection, which is beautiful in a way only Becca can execute...! You will find this sentiment and more inspirational phrases for foiling in the Faith collection.

Hope you're having a great week - I'm actually "off" this week except and I don't know where to begin with all the other things I've got piled up and waiting! Eep!

Thanks for stopping by!
