Splitcoast Tutorial: Stencil Embossing

It's my turn to share a tutorial over at Splitcoast - I have a Stencil Embossing technique that I've used as a step in other tutorials, and I felt like it needed its own page.

Here's one of the backgrounds I made in the video - this was a piece of patterned paper that I embossed and then sanded to outline the bricks - I love that effect! Just enough to break up the background without having to color or add more busyness to the panel.

Stencil: Brick Wall (A Colorful Life Designs)

Stamps: Gentlemen Silhouette, You're a Classic (Impression Obsession)

--------------

I hope everyone is well! I've been keeping busy (of course!) - working on a couple of portraits and some jewelry designs for fall. We dropped our son off in Texas this weekend for his 2nd year of college, and the rest of the kids start school Tuesday - thennnnn maybe I can get into a good work routine for a few weeks! I have a hysterectomy scheduled for Sept. 18 - if you have any advice, email me!

Thanks for stopping by!
