If you're new to my blog, then you may not know that I'm not only on the Impression Obsession design team - I'm also one of their artists! You can find all my stamps HERE. It's always fun during these blog hops to be able to share my stamps, some thoughts behind them, and some fun ways to use them. When I sit down to create a new release, I try to think of what kind of cards I want to send, and then fill in the gaps from there.
These stamps were designed back in February before the world turned upside down, so it's interesting to me that they're releasing now when things are particularly dark. Even though this is a fall/winter release, I try to be mindful that we're not all thinking of the holidays in July, so I hope that these heartfelt sentiments and timeless images will be useful to you at any time of year, and will be an encouragement either to you or through you to someone else.

Both cards here are 5" square - they are stamped in grey Versafine Clair ink and watercolored using my favorite Qor watercolors. I love the simplicity of this second card - a good reminder too that not all detailed images need to be colored in completely or at all!
One little fun fact on this image - there's another stamp in the release you might have seen that's a wreath with magnolias and lemons - the pinecone here was built digitally with layers of the magnolia flower art!
Be sure to check out the other designers' blogs for inspiration - you'll find a full list of their names on the I.O. Blog! You're not required to comment on every post, but the more comments you leave, the more chances you have to win - each one of us has a $25 gift certificate to give away! Winners will be drawn Sunday July 19th at midnight central time and will be announced on Tuesday July 21st on the IO blog, so be sure to check back for your name!
