Splitcoast Tutorial: Double Stencil Resist

It's my turn to share a tutorial over on Splitcoast - a few weeks ago I discovered this technique while making a sample for a different tutorial - you can see those cards here. Today I'm sharing the Double Stencil Resist technique!

The stencil I used for the technique is called Glasses - it's brand new this month from A Colorful Life Designs, along with a bunch of other stencils with a beachy theme... to be honest I am such a nerd that I didn't even see these as sunglasses, despite that obvious theme! Check out the release, and when you order, feel free to pop in my discount code DinaFan10 to save 10%!

The glasses die from IO turned out to be a perfect match - that's a cute set, if you haven't seen it - this pair and cat eyes too. The sentiment is from one of Kalani Allred's new sentiment sets called Real Adult - it is so fun and very relatable, too! ("I'm an adult but not like a real adult" - so me!)

I used Distress Oxide inks for my backgrounds, but you could use Brusho, watercolors, spray mists, markers, dye inks, or really any wet medium.

That's all I know! Happy Wednesday!
Thanks for stopping by!
