Impression Obsession DT Challenge: Halloween or Fall Colors

The Impression Obsession team's challenge today is to create a project in Halloween or fall colors.

Orange, purple, and green seem to be classic Halloween colors, so I applied them to an idea I've had in my head since Anna first came out with her animal die sets! As I was cutting apart the pieces, the bodies looked like little ghosts and monsters... I mean, look at this chicken's head:

...and the chick's body:

So here is my out-of-the-box use of several of the animal set pieces to create a little group of trick-or-treating monster friends!

Sets I used:
DIE786 Chick (body)
DIE787 Chicken (head and baby chick's wings)
DIE783 Cat (feet and tail)
DIE182 Mini Beach Fun Set (purple bucket)
DIE681 Pots (green bucket)

I split the sentiment up so I could arrange it a little differently - I used this frame die and added a little stenciling with Oxide ink for a little dimension. Highlights were added with a white colored pencil.

Be sure to check out the other designers' blogs for inspiration, and remember you can enter these challenges too, using your Impression Obsession stamps! See the I.O. blog for all the details - you might even win a $25 gift certificate!! We'd love to have you join us.
Thanks for stopping by!
