Impression Obsession DT Challenge: At the Beach

The Impression Obsession team's challenge today is to create a beachy project!

F13804 Shell Tree
E13810 Peace

I've shared the other stamps in my new beachy Christmas release - this is the last of my catalog cards that I hadn't shared! I love this fun shell tree, with the starfish perched on top! I used some watered down white pearl paint to color in the shells, adding just a tiny hint of pink as a soft accent. The 'peace' stamp was inked just with Versamark ink - that worked really nicely on the kraft paper.

Be sure to check out the other designers' blogs for inspiration, and remember you can enter these challenges too, using your Impression Obsession stamps! See the I.O. blog for all the details - you might even win a $25 gift certificate!! We'd love to have you join us.
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Cool! I love the look of coloring on dark paper and kraft. I really have to try it. Christmas is such a good time for "white" it really lends itself to it. I am thinking I cant decide if I like the tree or the seahorse best....

I always really like to see how artists use their own designs. :)

  2. So unique. I will have to try the versamark on kraft which I would have never thought to do.
