Impression Obsession Summer Die Release Day 1

Just wanted to make sure you'd all seen the new die release over at Impression Obsession - there are some really fun new summer designs to choose from! Go take a peek - I'll wait!

DIE827-YY Jam Jar

I went a little crazy with the new Jam Jar die - it's got a bunch of fun components, and the jar shape just wants to be so many different things! I started off behaving myself - here is a little jar of strawberry jam... there's also a set of fruits (and a beehive) for the label, and those have a lot of possibilities too! The circle dies I used for the base are a new release as well.

Next I flipped the jar over to make a little fish bowl - I'll list the additional die sets I used below - be sure to check those out, because some of them are a little unexpected! I love these fish and their happy little expressions.

DIE343-T Hill Landscape Layers (curve on sentiment panel)
DIE822-R Fish
DIE825-V Garden Bench (plants and bubbles (flower centers)
D12025 Just Keep Swimming

One more underwater card idea I couldn't get out of my head - I made the jar into a diving helmet! I cut the jar, lid, and label from silver cardstock, cut a circle from the center of the label, and then layered a piece behind it that's cut with a square border die. So fun!

This last card is my favorite - turning the jar into a fun summery drink! The umbrella and "lemon" are made with dies from the Flower Cart die set - the lemon piece is actually the cart wheel! So fun. I cut the little highlight using the edge of the jar, just at 2 different angles.
