Impression Obsession - Die Cut Obsession

There are so many amazing dies at Impression Obsession - this special Monday feature lets them have the spotlight! We hope you're inspired!

This new Sea Turtles die is beautiful as a frame die - there are lots of possibilities for paper piecing, or you can leave open areas for added depth and dimension.

I used my Spellbinder Glimmer machine and foils to foil the cutting lines, so that I had an outline for watercoloring. While the blue area was still drying I sprinkled it with kosher salt for a little more watery dimension - I love that technique!

Here's the panel at an angle so you can see shine on the gold foiling - it's really stunning in person! The sentiment I used is from my very first stamp release from Impression Obsession back in 2012. Points if you know what song these words are from!

Be sure to check out the other designers' blogs for inspiration - see the I.O. blog for all the details!
Thanks for stopping by!
