Impression Obsession - Die Cut Obsession

With such a huge collection of wonderful stamps from so many artists, sometimes the older stamps in the Impression Obsession catalog find their way out of the spotlight. We don't want them to be forgotten, so from now on you'll be seeing our team feature them regularly. We hope you're inspired!

Bunny Frame Die set
Easter Basket clear set

We have had the craziest weather this last week, but one day it was actually over 60 degrees out and I went outside barefoot all ready for spring... so to celebrate the hope of not having snow and ice on the ground someday, I made a pretty spring card. I used my favorite fancy watercolor paper and impressed the bunny die into the paper using the silicone rubber pad (you can see how to do this technique HERE - it's just steps 1 and 2).

I used QoR watercolors and Inktense pencils to color in this little scene - it's a great no-line technique, since the lines are pressed right into the paper without cutting through. The sentiment I used is from another cute bunny set called Easter Basket.

I actually have an extra die set to give away today! This is a set of 2 dies which cut the window design and frame outline separately. For a chance to win, click over to Impression Obsession and come and then come back to this post to tell me how many stamps I have in my line! I'll keep the entries hidden so no one's tempted to cheat. Hee hee! For a bonus entry, tell me which one is your favorite of my designs from the new Spring release! Please enter by Wednesday Feb. 20th at 9 PM, and I'll announce my winner with my Thursday challenge post.

Be sure to check out the other designers' blogs for more die cutting inspiration - see the I.O. blog for all the details!
Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Hi Dina! So, I left you a comment on the I.O. Blog, but it showed up! Is that where you wanted us to leave you a comment?
I'll leave one here too to make sure:
You have 874 Stamps in your line, & my favorite of the Spring Release is the Coffee Guinea Pig. It reminds me of a friend I had in my teens. She had a guinea pig growing up & she'd tell me how she'd play with it. SO FUNNY! ;)

  3. Oh Dina! How sweet this bunny is! I love your stamps. You have 874 stamps in your line...so I guess I will give up on having them all. Hahah. My favorite of your new release would be the whispered prayers quote. Which I already bought! I am not sure if i have done this correctly...or if I was supposed to answer your question on the i.o. site.

  4. Dina, Thanks for sharing your Bunny die art work. It is really cute. I was stunned to see that you have 872 entries at IO. But that includes dies and stamps, etc. But my favorite of your stamps is "To have Faith is to have wings."
