Leave a comment on our designers' posts throughout the week for a chance to win one of FOUR $25 gift certificates from Impression Obsession!

I had to add some succulents to my collection this time - I love them and they are so easy to care for (I got a few for Mother's day too!). You'll find my images in unexpected places, which is a favorite theme of mine as well. this one is in a teacup. The first image here is watercolored, and layered over a fun gel print...

On the second card, I stamped the teacup image onto a piece of label paper, and colored it with Copic markers.

It's layered over a monoprint which features a few of Seth Apter's new stamps - you can see how I made the background in today's tutorial feature on Splitcoaststampers!

Stamps I used: Tea Cup Succulent, Cheers, More Friendly, Rotators, French Script

  9. So many wonderful succulents.
I've always enjoyed a cactus garden
but haven't had one in a long time.
Now I can make up for that with a
    paper garden.
    thanks for sharing.

  11. I love the succulents in a cup - so pretty! My hubby does Bonsai so we have lots of plants. And even succulents that we like to put into unique containers ... just like a tea cup (or a boot - ours is a Victorian ceramic boot). :-) Beautiful work as always, Dina.
