Inchie Arts - Little Village sets!

I'm joining up with Inchie Arts and Ellen Hutson for a fun product feature today! Inchie Arts has developed some fun kits for making city and neighborhood scenes called Little Villages - they're die cut matboard pieces designed for unlimited scenic possibilities. Since it's Halloween, I went in a little spooky direction with mine...

The kit comes with an ATC (2.5"x 3.5") base, which was perfect for my little scene - I swiped Distress inks across it in orange and yellow, stamped with a script stamp for texture, and sponged the edges in grey. I used a portion of a Halloween Hill die cut from Impression Obsession to create the background, then layered the other pieces. Those also were swiped with Distress ink and stamped and sponged in the same way.

I used another die cut (maybe that mitten from the other day?) to loosely stencil the windows, then added more details with a ballpoint pen and a white gel pen. The pen took a little while to warm up, and that gave me the ghosty shadows I was hoping for in the windows.

I used the other half of the die cut for the foreground of the scene, added the moon, bats and a few gel pen stars, and finally a sentiment to pull it all together.

There are endless possibilities with these little kits! Over at the CLASSroom, you'll find Inchie Arts products featured all this week - Ellen Hutson's team has such amazing ideas. I'm such a fan of all the products Inchie Arts creates, and so grateful to be a part of the feature this week! Thanks for visiting!
